Getting started
What is Adbidvertiser?
Adbidvertiser is a crowd-powered advertising platform. Advertisers buy low-cost adbid rights, place their ad on a public leaderboard called the Public Exposure Ledger, and compete for ranked visibility and the Top Sponsor spotlight. The core product is measurable advertising exposure.
Do I need an account to look around?
No. Anyone can view the Public Exposure Ledger, the current Top Sponsor, adverts, rankings, and countdowns without signing up. You only need an account to buy adbid rights, activate them, or challenge the Top Sponsor.
Is this an investment or a way to earn money?
No. Adbid rights are advertising credits only. They are not money, not stored value, and not an investment. You are buying advertising exposure, not a financial product. There is no passive income, guaranteed return, or cash-out.
Adbid rights & payments
What are adbid rights?
Adbid rights are non-redeemable advertising credits used inside the platform. You hold them in two balances: inactive (bought, not yet on the ledger) and active (entered into the current round of the Public Exposure Ledger).
How much is the platform fee?
A 10% platform fee is deducted from every purchase. The remainder is credited to you as inactive adbid rights.
What is the minimum purchase?
USD purchases use the configured USD minimum of USD 5.00. NGN purchases are calculated differently: the NGN minimum is the amount needed to leave you with at least 1.00 inactive adbid right after the 10% platform fee. At the current configured rate of NGN 1,400 per USD, that pre-VAT minimum is NGN 1,555.56. If VAT is enabled, VAT is added at checkout and tracked separately from adbid rights and platform fees.
Can I get a refund or cash out my adbid rights?
No. Adbid rights are non-redeemable and non-refundable except where required by law. They cannot be sold back to the platform or exchanged for cash. See the Refund Policy for the full billing-error and failed-payment rules.
The ledger & scores
What is the minimum to get on the ledger?
The default minimum entry into the Public Exposure Ledger is 1 active adbid rights. Activating rights is one-way: active rights cannot be moved back to inactive.
What are Challenge Score and Exposure Score?
Challenge Score is your paid active rights this round — it decides whether you can depose the Top Sponsor. Exposure Score is your paid active rights plus eligible referral and comeback boosts — it decides your ranking and visibility. Boosts improve visibility only; they can never depose a sponsor or trigger a reward.
What are country ledgers?
When country ledgers are enabled, every eligible advertiser remains ranked internationally and also appears in the ledger for their registered primary advertising market. A visitor may initially see their country ledger, then the site can switch to International after a short delay unless the visitor is interacting. Country selection affects viewing and country-level competition; it does not change an advertiser's registered country by IP.
What do country flags mean?
If admin enables country badges and the advertiser allows it, public cards show a compact flag and ISO code for the advertiser's primary advertising market.
Why is my name shown as X's?
For privacy, the public ledger shows only the last three letters of your first name, with the rest replaced by X (for example, "Michael" appears as "XXXael").
Top Sponsor, challenges & rewards
How do I become the Top Sponsor?
You challenge the current Top Sponsor by committing enough paid challenge rights to meet or exceed their top amount. On success your ad takes the spotlight, the countdown resets, a 20% bonus raises the amount the next challenger must beat, and challenges lock briefly.
What do I get if someone deposes me?
If a funded challenge validly deposes you, your committed rights come back as a Deposition Return — expiring inactive adbid rights usable for the round you were deposed plus 2 more rounds — plus a Comeback Boost to your Exposure Score for that round plus 1 more. These are advertising credits only, never cash.
Can returned inactive rights reactivate automatically?
If you enable auto-reactivation in your profile, returned inactive rights from a valid deposition can be sent back into active rights automatically where the platform rules allow it. You can turn this preference off in your profile.
What if the countdown ends and nobody deposes me?
Then the round expires, your active rights for that round expire, and nothing further is owed — you received exactly what you paid for: premium advertising exposure for the duration you held the spot.
Sharing, coupons & referrals
What happens when I share a card?
Shared cards open the live ledger focused on the shared advertiser, so viewers see the actual current ledger context instead of a detached landing page. Share links can target International or a country ledger where available.
Can sharing earn exposure credits?
If admin enables verified share-load bonuses, qualified destination-page loads can award exposure bonus credits subject to daily and lifetime caps. Share rewards are visibility credits only. They cannot be withdrawn or used as cash.
What can coupons award?
Coupons can award inactive adbid rights or bonus exposure credits, depending on how admin creates them. Each coupon can have an expiry date, redemption limit, instant termination, and per-user redemption controls. Coupon and promotional credits are tracked separately from ordinary paid-purchase accounting.
How does the referral program work?
When someone you referred activates paid adbid rights, you earn a 20% referral exposure boost based on their activated amount. It increases your Exposure Score and visibility only.
Is there a limit on referral boost?
Yes. Referral boost that counts toward your Exposure Score is capped at 100% of your own paid active rights. Excess is banked and can unlock as you activate more of your own rights. Boosts expire after a set number of rounds or 30 days.
Can referrals earn me cash?
No. Referral boost cannot be used to depose a Top Sponsor, cannot trigger or increase any reward, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Self-referrals are not allowed.
What bonuses and promotional credits exist?
These values come from current platform settings and may change for future activity.

Moderation, safety & your account
Are ads moderated?
Yes. Ads are reviewed to prevent scams, impersonation, illegal products, hate or harassment, misleading financial claims, and unsafe links. Admin may approve, reject, suspend, or limit an ad. You can report any ad you believe breaks the rules.
